I am currently a Practice & Claims Manager for over a dozen providers and clinics in Washington State, Washington DC, Northern & Southern CA. 

My clinical and administrative   healthcare work experience spans over 30 years and includes Inpatient, Out patient, RTC, IOPs, and Mobile healthcare. Mobile facilities/providers are those such as Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M.A.S.H) & Unsheltered outreach on foot or Clinics on wheels .

Before starting my own business I was Federal Officer, Army Medical Specialist and Surgical Technician.

The industry & rules are constantly changing. I keep up to date with monthly training and I am member of PAHCOM - The Professional Association of Health Care Office Management.

I am a Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist with more than 10 years experience. I manage 2 group practices in California. I have a deep understanding of insurance guidelines including the majority of private insurance companies, Medicaid, Medicare, HMO companies, and PPO companies. I am experienced with the complete revenue cycle scoping eligibility and benefits verification, requesting authorization, bookkeeping / payment posting, denial management and accounts receivable.

I started my Medical claims Biller career in 2014 while employed at a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company working with United Healthcare. In 2017, when my mother became ill, I transitioned to working as a freelance Medical Virtual Assistant. Over the years, I have collaborated with various medical practices across a wide range of specializations, including Behavioral Health Practices, Ambulance Billing, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers (CPAP, BPAP), Women's Medical Centers providing prenatal care, and Hereditary Cancer Testing, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) practice, Orthopedics, specialized surgical procedures, and Internal Medicine and Primary Care.

Over the past decade, I've gained a deep understanding of the US healthcare system and its insurance regulations. I've been involved in the entire revenue cycle, with the exception of credentialing.

I am self-sufficient and proactive. I genuinely care about the people I work with and treat their businesses as if they were my own. I make sure to provide value.
